iPhone 5C: the first tests came

Anyway, while waiting to take the 5C iPhone in hand, here's what we can remember the first tests of smartphones, made by our colleagues :

Pocket -lint

" There are not any updates essential hardware days , which means that the iPhone 5C is essentially another version of the iPhone 5. The same 4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and 326ppi . You get the same Apple A6 processor, and the same 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture . "

Engadget

"We 're not going to lie. The iPhone 5C is beautiful - we could even say that this is the most beautiful version from the iPhone 4 and 4S. In comparison , it instantly makes the iPhone 5 and 5S stilted . Of course , we prefer materials such as aluminum and glass to plastic, and we appreciate the know-how complex the construction of iPhone 5 and 5S , but still we can not deny it, 5C fires just this section Primary brain screaming , " OMG, the color ! " He brings a breath of fresh air to the iPhone range and will echo to consumers at a more emotional level"

WSJ

"It's just a little thicker and heavier than the iPhone 5. And while the 5C is not as refined as the iPhone 5 or 5S, this is not just a phone plastic either. I tested smartphones plastic before , including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Motorola Moto X , this phone seems more solid in hand. Call quality was good. "

AnandTech

" Internally , Apple is very proud of reinforced steel frame that gives the iPhone 5C rigidity. In practice, the 5C has virtually no noticeable flexible chassis. This is an easy victory for Apple because the 5c does not need to be a flagship device , and therefore does not have to be as thin as possible. I agree with Brian , all devices in plastic / polycarbonate does not feel cheap or to be inexpensive ( HTC, Nokia ) , and therefore the iPhone also 5C . It's a different feeling that provided by models soft polycarbonate / matte I saw it and it is definitely smoother. "

The Loop

"There is absolutely no reason not to give this phone to anyone. It does not bend in the housing, or what you want, obviously. It seems as solid as 5S .

The iPhone 5C not really a feeling of plastic . It's strange when you hold it , but it seems almost ceramic or similar material that is both bright and hard . The manufacturing process Apple uses to make this phone and used the metal frame make it sturdy. "

TechCrunch

"This is something I think , and many of you will be happy to hear : In my experience , the iPhone 5C greater autonomy than the iPhone 5 in general use. On average , I turn around a day and a half , with between 6 and 15 hours of actual use based on my business mix .

On my brand new iPhone 5 , I get less , in similar conditions. Apple spoke light performance gains of the iPhone battery 5C vs iPhone 5, but in terms of experience, 5C definitely looks better , and improvements to power management algorithm relief in iOS 7 really seem to be effective . "

SlashGear

"In practice , the 5C offers better performance (note: the battery) in comparison to the iPhone 5 last year. In typical use - push email enabled, multimedia playback , using the camera , an hour of GPS navigation, and a bit of navigation both LTE and WiFi - we ended the day with a little juice . The iPhone 5C certainly not benefit the M7 Apple processor as does the 5S, but with optimizations for iOS 7, the new 4G spectrum , which is considered a slightly larger battery, or a combination of three , we are now much more confident about spending a day away from a charger. "

CNET

"I tried to convince my mother to buy the iPhone 5C, until I realized that it synchronizes occasionally , and uses his phone more like a camera to take pictures of her grandchildren , as the 5S 's probably worth paying extra $ 100. More than ever, the new iPhone is a step , a great destination for Apple's new arrivals. It may become the new iPhone reference to the general public . 5S is the "pro" model with technology to be developed , 5C has less to build . "
